Richard May Richard has produced many pieces of work for me over the last few years. Along with Jason Arber he is a co-founder of Pixelsurgeon Magictorch Mike and Sam busy themselves down in Brighton creating top notch vector and 3D images Paul Price This guy is the King of 3D Abstract and probably the best of the Digital vision Infinity contributors David Newton Although I haven't used this guy for a while (due more to the design brief of my magazine) I still think his work is outstanding. His impressive client list attests to that Oliver Burston I must admit to not being a great fan of 3D illustration - unless its of the highest quality. Olivers' work is always excellent Redseal Swansea-based art collective. Purveyors of quality vector illustrations. Rob Brearley Vector and pixel art from Rob. I especially like his icon like characters. TwleveTen Hailing from Nottingham, these guys were regular cover artists during my stint on Internetworks. Engine Another design agency that featured heavily on the Internetworks cover. These guys can throw their hand at anything you brief them with. Honkshoo Brilliantly simplistic graphics that look the biz. Mark Bowns sites are a pleasure to explore. Carl Flint Carl has a wicked style of Caricature, his takes on Thatcher and Oasis are brilliant. He also produces a lot of comic work. Tado Mike and Katie are a couple of eager beavers (in their own words) up in Sheffield. They produce endless lines of cute cartoon characters with a twist. Make that a big twist. And then some. Thomas Brodahl Surfstation founder Thomas has a great line in vector illustration. Hailing from Norway he is now based in good old Londinium. |
| Jonas Strandbergh-Ringh One of the unknowns that I first linked to. Lots of infinity images on display. Migy Flash and vector supremo with a talent for the bizarre. Douglas Boehm Artistic figurative style that, overall, has a rather haunted look to it. To my eyes it looks vaguely similar to the drawn work of Tim Burton. Dino Slick pixel artists' flash site. Jason Brooks The Grand Daddy of the cocktail-lounge vector illustration style that so many people want to be able to do (me included!). Mats Bergen Another practitioner of the cocktail-lounge style. Though slightly more cartoony. Davegraphics.com Full of the bizarre workings of "Dave". Wonderfully twisted. Alex Gross The art of Alex Gross. Exquisite images full of imagination and naughty with it. Feng Zhu Concept artist/visualizer. Striking line work with excellent character realisation. Hydro 74 Dramatic vector work from Ohio based Joshua Smith. |
