A coach driver has been given a ban from driving for 6 months. He was caught using a mobile phone whilst driving – not in itself unusual. However he had a 10 year old girl sitting crosslegged on the dashboard at the time. The picture accompanying this piece is a classic. posted at 2:07 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Its a rather boring image when you first look at it but the GigaPix is very impressive none the less. Click on the photo and start to zoom in – this is a picture containing some 2.5 billion pixels. Its a composite picture so when you zoom in you can find instances where people have wandered into shot, but because they are on the join between frames, only half of their body appears. Spooky. posted at 9:17 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Catch me on the .net webcam if you dare! If I'm not on it you'll probably find a variety of stuffed toys in my place.

The Register seems to be less than impressed with an epic Segway trek across America. Surely this deserves more praise, such dedication to modernity and the thrills to be had at 10mph should be applauded. Err, maybe not then. posted at 10:50 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Uncovered: The way Japanese business men work, no wonder they fall asleep wherever they crumple. It may also have something to do with the amount of alcohol they put away after a hard shift. posted at 12:34 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Millions of people around the world expected Wednesday to bring in a new era. How wrong we were. Globalvote 2004 catalogues just how much the world hates Bush - the leader of the "free" world. Hello armageddon! posted at 4:23 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0
