Stuart Hughes shows us some of the reaction by the Russian press over last nights gymnastics scandal. For those of you who didn't see the footage, the crowd managed to force the judges into altering a competitors score. posted at 11:09 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Bush is up to his usual tricks when making a speech "Tribal Sovereignty Means That. It's Sovereign". Watch the stream, you'll be dumbfounded by the vague response from the leader of the free world. The Rev. Jackson tries his best to clear up the confusion in an after speech press conference. posted at 5:13 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0

I've just documented a rather strange occurence on b3ta.com. I was opening an image that I had just downloaded however the full image hadn't been saved with (ahem) hilarious consequences. Where's Basil Brush when you need him? posted at 7:17 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Forgive me for a bit of slightly old news here. However it's funny so I'll get away with it: The editor of The Southern Reporter weekly newspaper has had to resign after making a bit of a serious gaff. Its one that a lot of people in the press do but usually catch before going to press. The crime? Willie Mack wrote a spoof caption for a picture which he hoped would be replaced at a later stage. However his mocking comments about the people in the caption went to print. Cue lots of raging readers jamming the switchboard. That's why I always use xxxxxx's to fill in caption text areas. posted at 8:38 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Insect have relaunched their Web site. Except they are refusing to use Butterflies in their work any more - "It's the most over-used symbol in design of the last two years". Their work is still as lovingly twisted as ever though. posted at 8:11 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Having punched in "Vector Illustration" into Google this site came pretty high up the ranks: Life in Vector. It's a high quality portfolio of vector artwork by Brooke Nuņez based in New York. Brooke has employed a rather nifty rollover affect to her images. Hover your mouse over each image to view a wireframe version - it gives you a real idea of how much work has gone into each piece. posted at 2:41 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0
