Forget Mansun. The real debate raging in Wales today is - How cheese on toast could be losing families 70GBP a year. Brought to you by the illustrious hacks at The Western Mail. posted at 8:52 AM by Carlton Your comments... 1

There was a band before Mansun! Grind has raised its curly head again. Steve Heaton has put a site together to dispel any rumours floating around the Net. Incidentally, if any solicitors acting for Paul are reading this, I've no intention of jumping into the frey with my "version" of events. Have a pineapple! The shots of our strange hairdos make me laugh. posted at 8:38 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

A rather grand title for a Web site - Collected Tears of the Weeping Nivbed. However this illustration site turns out to be quite a corker. Justin Cherry, the creator, has a brilliant style mixed with a vivid imagination. posted at 11:20 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

Crikey. Brett Anderson tells about reunion with Bernard Butler. Suede v2.0 here we come. Can't wait to hear what they've put together. I bet one of the songs will have the words "electricity" and "nuclear" in it. posted at 7:50 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

This has got to be one of the freakiest hospital stories I've seen - "I lived without part of my skull". Briana Lane couldn't afford her surgery (she lives in the US) and therefore had to wait whilst the bureaucrats argued over who would foot the bill. It's only once she went to the press that things started to happen, funny that! posted at 5:38 PM by Carlton Your comments... 0

I have got to say that Steve Coogan's new project, I Am Not An Animal, was an utter (otter) pile of tripe. The animation is spot on but the script is completely lame. I love the concept of the series and I'm just hoping that the first episode isn't an indication of what to expect for future shows. There were a couple of polite laughter moments, but for the majority of time, I had to do battle with the tumbleweed rolling through my living room. posted at 8:35 AM by Carlton Your comments... 0

You really should take a look at the daily drawings of Drew over at toothpaste for dinner. So simple yet so deep. Drew is a regular contributor to .net and writes virtually everything in lower case. His site is getting very popular and he is a bit perturbed that he is now being stalked. Read his warning for more details. posted at 10:52 AM by Carlton | permalink
