Here is the site of a group of local South West (England) Illustrators. Having had a swift gander at what they produce, it looks mainly to be in traditional media (ie not digital). Which makes a refreshing change. posted at 10:37 AM by Carlton | permalink
John Peel explains his love of (some) cover versions. Amy Studt's latest effort (All I wanna do) is an example of an artist releasing a carbon copy of the original - totally pointless. posted at 9:10 AM by Carlton | permalink

Usually popstars find themselves in the dock when in court - hotel room wrecking being mainly the reason. However Gloria Estefan recently spent a short time as part of a jury. Rumours that she was kicked out for breaking into a rendition of "Bad Boy" are totally unfounded. posted at 2:15 PM by Carlton | permalink

Here are two illos I did a couple of months back but haven't got around to uploading until now. They are both for an accounting magazine (hence the austere feel to them).

Both images were drawn in Adobe Illustrator. The first is about how to stand out in the (business) crowd and the second one is illustrating a page of questions and answers. I've been doing quite a lot of images recently for work (.net mag). When I get chance I'll upload those too. posted at 12:20 PM by Carlton | permalink

So, here I am working on a Sunday trying to finish off the cover feature for the latest edition of .net. Trouble is, all I can think of is how crap and unprofessional Liverpool played today against underdogs Yeovil Town. I fear Houllier has had his day (although I hate to say it), the team just looked like it had no invention or incentive to win. Poor. posted at 8:49 PM by Carlton | permalink

I have absolutely no resolutions to fulfill - not that I'm perfect or anything. Its just that if you have something you need to do to make yourself better, you shouldn't have to wait for 1 January to achieve it. posted at 10:04 AM by Carlton | permalink
