Bush flew into the UK on GROUND FARCE 1 and damaged the Queen's Garden. Also Prince Philip was raging cos he couldn't get a decent TV signal to watch Channel 4 racing! posted at 2:16 PM by Carlton | permalink

PC's must now go PC in LA. Offensive jargon comes under fire. So terms like "master" and "slave" for computer networks have been banned. Does this mean Depeche Mode's track "Master and Servant" is to be banned too! More about this on Snopes. posted at 1:45 PM by Carlton | permalink

Is this guy the perfect house guest? Man bemuses doctors with 'no water or food' claim. So he doesn't get up in the middle of the night and eat all of your Jammy Dodgers. posted at 2:01 PM by Carlton | permalink

Things are starting to calm down a little in the Hibbert household (excuse me while I find a large healthy lump of wood to touch!). Ewan is oblivious to everything around him apart from when it comes to being fed. Mel is soldiering on despite the severe lack of sleep. Ross has had a cold and been under the weather but is getting back to normal. He has already become mummy's little helper when Ewan gets his nappy changed. He loves to hand out the wet wipes and trash the nappy bag. Me? I just potter around doing the little chores that need doing whilst also keeping an eye on the refurbishment. Absolutely no time to spend on the Net - I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Ewan just keeps changing, his face seems different every day. I found some pics of Ross' early days and was amazed by how different he looked from his appearance now. I've got to make sure that I take as many photos of Ewan as possible to catalogue his development. posted at 11:18 PM by Carlton | permalink

As the keen of eye may be aware I've not posted for a while. That's because on Monday 10 November 2003 11.08pm GMT my second son Ewan Spencer Hibbert was born. All Hail Ewan! Mother and baby are doing well and are at home with me now. However they both returned to find that our house had turned into a disaster area. We had a water leak while we were at the hospital and the ceiling of our dining room decided, that being wet, it should do the proper thing and collapse. Cue swearing and frantic phone calls to insurance company (and of course the plumber - who also tried to rip us off for good measure). Suffice to say I'm now sat in our home surrounded by boxes and building materials trying to figure out what day it is. Did I mention that we're all severely sleep deprived? All apart from Ewan, of course. Ewan is blissfully unaware of the routine we call night and day and so wants to be fed all night and sleep all day. Bless the little treasure ;-)
Anyway those who are interested can find pics of the little fella here... posted at 11:15 PM by Carlton | permalink

Day in the life of an art editor.
Life can't be too bad when your job involves doing photoshoots of things like this toy. How cool is this Nodding Optimus Prime desktop toy? It must be said that it was a very bizarre experience carrying a giant inflatable Dalek back to the office after the shoot. People passing me gave me some quite strange looks and quite a few drivers hooted their horns and shouted "Exterminate!" at me. I laughed all the way back to work.
On a more personal note, no sign of little Hibbert yet. The due date is today but Mel is having none of it. posted at 8:24 PM by Carlton | permalink
