This guy's brain must have taken a hike. The numbskull decided to take a ride on his BMX - off a building whilst on fire. Not dead though, so won't appear in the Darwins, unfortunately.

Its a sad day to hear that Shed Seven are to split. I did a couple of tours supporting them when I was in Mansun and they were a decent bunch of guys. They never really hit the really big time, but when you think of how many hits they've had, they didn't do half bad. Better than us anyway! 13 years together as a band is pretty good these days.

Well, I've survived the weekend - no screaming baby yet and my cold is getting better. Once Mels waters break I should be raring to go. We tried some practice "breathing" exercises where she kneeled facing me and tried to synch her breathing to my rhythm. Needless to say we cracked up and could never get past the first breath. I'm not sure what help I can give her. I'll just have to be prepared for whatever happens - with Ross' birth I got a punch in the nose for getting too close! I can't wait to see what will happen this time.

Its Saturday! Yay! And I feel like total crap. Boo.
I've been suckered by an evil cold and have been up most of the night with a fever. I'm tired and more than a little bit grouchy. Mel (my wife) is pregnant and due the end of next week. God, hope I can shake this illness off before she decides its time. She spent most of last night pacing up and down trying to tell me she was having contractions and not Braxtons (nothing to do with Toni). Anyway, false alarm. I would be about as useful as a very useless thing indeed, should we have to make a dash for the maternity hospital.
On top of which I've been landed with a load of freelance and extra mag work to do for Monday. So why am I wasting time on my blog? Cos thats all I'm capable of doing right now...
Wish me luck.

Fined for using two phones. £300 is not enough! Oh, and he was driving at the time (admittedly he was merely crawling along but I bet a cyclist wouldn't be amused being hit at that speed). Gertrude, where's my axe?

Lana Landis is trying to recapture the cheescake glamour images of the past - and not doing to bad a job of it. Some of the images look a bit naff but mostly they are pretty good interpretations. Don't worry there's nothing too adult about this site. Good name btw.

Evan Dorkin's Journal seems to document just how busy the guy is these days. After seeing a post on Pixelsurgeon about 'Milk and Cheese' I had to go and hunt him down. Not literally you understand, just a quick google.

I've been hinting at changes being afoot recently. Well, I have just joined .net magazine as their art editor. I expect all of its readers to laugh heartily at the crapness of this site and flame me with pitying emails. Suffice to say I'm going to have to redesign this site when I've got time - just to stop them pointing and laughing.

I've been a away for a weekend break in London seeing some old friends. Its been about 4 years since I lived there and its the first real chance I've had to make a social visit to the place. All I can say is that I'm glad I moved. I'd forgotten just how crowded the streets get. Friday I spent a most "enjoyable" couple of hours crawling through the traffic trying to get from Balham to Alexandra Palace. I never want to do that again.
Anyway, thats why there's been a bit of a dirth of posts recently.
