Here are some illustrations from Michael Halbert, quite a lot in fact. They all have a very traditional feel to them, which usually isn't my cup of tea, but I do like some of the vector art he produces. Especially the WWII aeroplanes.

Much as I try to keep sex out of my blog, New Scientist has published a rather interesting article about the sex lives of worms near Chernobyl. Apparently they have stopped being asexual and are now happily turning their amorous intentions on other worms, all due to the effects of radiation.

I saw this advert on TV last night and was completely blown away. I was on the phone at the time and totally lost track of the conversation I was having as I saw the sequence unfold. Yeah, it might be inspired by the film "The Way Things Go", (ref source - Pixelsurgeon) but its still impressive. Go and watch the Honda Accord Ad and be amazed. The online version is a bit ropey due to it being over-compressed, but the TV version is simply stunning.

Local Bath news generally involves irate pensioners, illegal parking, or cats falling off walls, but this is something different. Apparently a local division of Marines that has been dispatched to Iraq includes someone who, until recently, spoke very little english. Spaniard in the thick of it.
