Sunday, December 29, 2002 I hope you've all had a great xmas so far? I've just heard that my ibook has been fixed. I've had a brilliant christmas so far - I've even painted the fireplace white. Yaye!? Not had any time to do any updating of this site yet, but I'm formulating a few plans to make it more spectacular very soon. I'll let you know when I get around to doing this. At the moment our house seems to be full to the rafters with stuffed toys: Ross' Christmas presents. Will put some holiday pictures up very shortly.

Thursday, December 19, 2002 I've plumped for Norman Foster's design because its so bold. However I almost voted for Studio Libeskind's due to the fact that it looks more like a place of remembrance. I'd almost forgotten about this story. I was in Tokyo at the time when the poisoning happened - it shocked the Japanese nation. It was really weird watching the news on TV, knowing something awful had happened but not being able to understand what the reporters were saying. Its taken quite a while for the prosecution to be completed. Ananova - Japanese saleswoman guilty of curry poisoning

The initial excitement about getting an ibook has suddenly crashed. Somehow I've totally screwed the system software and it looks like I'll have to fork out a small fortune to fix it. I'm planning an overhaul of this blog to funk up the look of each entry and make it look like I’ve not cut and pasted several templates into one. Luckily I’m just about finished on two major projects so should be less busy. Hopefully I’ll be able to get more illustrations up in my portfolio plus a few personal pieces of work in my vision section. I’ve bought an ibook and a digital camera so will be attempting to use these to create a richer site. I’ve already been taking quite a few shots of my son Ross (did I hear a groan at the back?). Apparently this morning he was experimenting with the letter ‘d’ so he will no doubt be going ‘da-da’ very shortly! BTW he’s only seven months old. Carlton posted at 1:57 PM by Carlton | permalink
