However it's funny so I'll get away with it: The editor of The Southern Reporter weekly newspaper has had to resign after making a bit of a serious gaff. Its one that a lot of people in the press do but usually catch before going to press. The crime? Willie Mack wrote a spoof caption for a picture which he hoped would be replaced at a later stage. However his mocking comments about the people in the caption went to print. Cue lots of raging readers jamming the switchboard.
