This will be no surprise to your average Bond fan, but a new title is about to hit the stores. Michael Gillette, on his blog Pencil Squeezing, shows us his cover work for the release of Fleming's classic books. I've got a couple of old paperbacks knocking around, must dig them out.

Kevin Sprouls

Kevin Sprouls dropped me a line as he spotted that we're fellow drummers with inky fingers. Take a look at his portfolio for some stunning imagery. He's the orginator of the Wall Street Journal portraiture style known as "hedcut". Obviously Kevin has bags of patience!

Get those pencils and crayons and paints and mice ready for 7 June '08. That's the day when everybody should strive to create whatever comes into their minds.
