Vegas came to London recently for the WSOPE and we took the opportunity to bag an interview with Phil Hellmuth (whilst hobnobbing at the Savoy). We asked him about how he felt winning his eleventh bracelet. Also in town was Annette15, demon online player - she went on to win the London event right after we set our photographer loose on her! Apart from all of this we have the following in the latest

David Williams takes a bow on our latest cover. We managed to track him down in Vegas for a photoshoot. He came well prepared - he had visited his jeweller beforehand and appeared with boxes containing $500,000 worth of bling. After turning the lights down a notch we bagged this great cover image. He'll be pleased to hear that we also feature his mum - she beat him in the WSOP!Get the mag to hear how

Tom Hughes has started up a new website to sell prints of his new illustration style. His new art comes from the urban inspiration that is Bristol. Home to concrete vistas and tag happy graffiti artists - like Banksy. You might spot some pigeons in the mix.
Design portfolio
My design portfolio has finally launched. It will work as a sister site to this one and will contain a good healthy chunk of all of my design work from the last 13 years. There's quite a lot of stuff in there at the moment but I'm working on even more. Head over to the design galleries to see more. I have also started a new design blog which will run in tandem to this one, so bookmark both blogs to

David Apatoff is obviously someone with a great wealth of knowledge about illustration in the previous century. Luckily he has gifting an awful lot of that knowledge to us through his blog. It has been picked up as one of Blogger's 'Blogs of Note' and is undoubtedly enjoying a peak in traffic. It's great to see the skills of latter day artists - they leave a lot of todays illustrators in the dust.

Just found this blog of minkee's work. Troble is there's no "about me..." info in there, so I've no idea who or what Minkee is! There are a lot of great images on there - mainly sketches, roughs and experiments. This is one blog to keep an eye on. If you're watching Minkee - post a bio.

This is a great resource if you are in the field of book publishing. I tend to cover editorial illustrators on this blog, mainly due to my being involved in editorial design, but this is great for more general illustration browsing. Lots of great artists on there. I'll have to try and take some time to pick out some highlights for you.
