All about me...
I am a UK illustrator based in Bath, South West England. I studied my degree in Media and Production Design at the London College of Printing 90-94. My day job is as an Art Editor for Future on a magazine called Official World Poker Tour magazine. I constantly scour many resources searching for professional illustrators and photographers to commission for my mag. However, over the years, it has been necessary for me to produce my own illustrations usually due to time constraints and/or budget requirements. Over time this has given me a fair eye for creating dynamic and professional illustrations of my own.
This digital portfolio is a showcase of my abilities - ranging from simple vector work through to 3D and photo manipulation images.
I have 12 years of experience in the design industry having worked on books, multimedia, music and magazines. To name check a few, these companies include Dorling Kindersley, EMI, John Brown Publishing, Anness Publishing, Specialist Publications and Future. I have also commissioned many of the leading illustrators and photographers in the graphics industry.

Apart from being an illustrator and designer I have also been a drummer. Sadly my drum kit languishes in the basement waiting for the day when I finally get my act back together. In a previous life I was the drummer for Mansun. I also had very bad hair in those days.

I've managed to piece this site together using a collection of tutorials written by Craig Grannell for .net magazine. I've embellished on the original examples in my own bull-at-a-gate fashion so if you see any problems in the coding let me know.
